At the 13th International Conference on Complex Networks and their Applications in Istanbul, Turkey, held from Dec 9 to Dec 12, 2024, the Computational Network Science (CNS) group will also be presenting its latest findings:

1. Group Fairness Metrics for Community Detection Methods in Social Networks, Elze de Vink and Akrati Saxena (Session Oral 1A: Community Structure)

2. Dynamics of temporal influence on polarised social networks, Caroline Pena, Akrati Saxena, Pádraig MacCarron and David O’Sullivan (Session Oral 4A: Information Spreading In Social Media)

CNS group talks at Dutch Network Science Society Symposium

We at the NetSciX 2025 conference in Indore, India

About the CNS Group

The Leiden Computational Network Science (CNS) group is a research group working on methods and algorithms for analyzing  real-world (social) network data. We develop techniques to unveil patterns in dynamic complex networks from a range of application domains, including online soclal networks, population-scale networks, scientific collaboration networks and economic networks. The CNS group is lead by Frank Takes and hosted at LIACS, the Department of Computer Science and AI of Leiden University.
